BIKKUN® Vatted Malt Whisky is a 100% malt whisky, the result of an international collaboration between the Alava distillery BASQUE MOONSHINERS and DISTELL International, owner of several top-tier Scottish distilleries, with products such as Deanston, Ledaig and Bunnahabhain.

To create this whisky, smoked malt from the Scottish islands has been used, in addition to malt with a marked "sherry" character from the Highlands; completing the mix with the characteristic Single Malt of BASQUE MOONSHINERS aged in barrels from Rioja Alavesa and present in AGOT Single Malt Basque Whisky.

Tasting Notes

Natural old gold color. Bright and clear.

On the nose, we begin with a clear burst of peat smoke and a light touch of iodine, followed by sweet and fruity aromas. A pleasant aroma of cereal combines with notes of pastry and nuts. Finally, subtle hints of sherry emerge.

On the palate, we discover a medium-bodied and unctuous wine. Notes of honey, licorice, and peat smoke mingle with spicy hints. The finish is medium-length with sweet cereal notes and a touch of bitterness.

BIKKUN® Vatted Malt Whisky is unfiltered and uncolored for maximum flavor. With the addition of ice and/or water, it may show some cloudiness, which is perfectly natural.
