Karpy Liquor

Karpy is an orange liqueur made with a careful selection of the best oranges (sweet and bitter)

The name originated in honor of the founder's two granddaughters, Carmen and Pilar. Part of the town of Amurrio, where the distillery is located, once revolved around oranges. To produce just a few drops of Karpy Liqueur, the peels of many oranges were needed. While the peels were being macerated in the stills, the peeled oranges were piled into one-kilo bundles, which were later sold to the neighbors. Karpy Liqueur is made by macerating and distilling the peels of bitter and sweet oranges separately. Once this process is complete, they are mixed with water containing glucose and fructose, alcohol, and distilled water. This mixture is left to rest for two to three months, then filtered and bottled.
